Project 1 – Arduino-Based Fire Alarm System Oct-Nov'23

Designed and developed an innovative Arduino-based fire alarm system to detect smoke or heat and alert users to prevent fire hazards. This IoT-enabled device integrates advanced sensor technology to provide real-time monitoring and early warning capabilities. The system incorporates temperature and smoke sensors connected to an Arduino microcontroller that processes the sensor data and triggers both audio and visual alarms when dangerous conditions are detected.

The project involved extensive hardware prototyping, circuit design, and firmware development. The system was calibrated to minimize false alarms while maintaining high sensitivity to actual fire conditions. The final prototype demonstrated reliable performance in various testing scenarios, achieving rapid response times and accurate detection capabilities.

Tech: Arduino Uno, DHT11 & MQ-2 sensors, C/C++ (Arduino IDE), circuit design, breadboard wiring, sensor calibration, real-time signal processing, IoT integration, hardware prototyping.

Project 2 – Homework Submission Portal Feb-May'25

Homework Submission Portal is a full-stack web application designed to simplify and digitize the academic workflow between teachers and students. The platform provides secure role-based access where teachers can create classrooms, upload syllabi, assign homework, set deadlines, and evaluate student submissions, while students can view assignments, upload their work, track submission status, and receive feedback in real time. Built using React.js for a responsive and interactive frontend, Node.js and Express.js for a scalable backend, and MongoDB for efficient data management, the system focuses on usability, performance, and clean UI/UX design. The project aims to reduce manual effort, improve transparency in evaluation, and offer a centralized digital solution for online homework management in educational institutions.
